These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Colab Talent, operated by TheColab Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of the platform

Colab Talent is a talent marketplace connecting employers with AI professionals in New Zealand. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms.

2. Employer responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information about your company and roles
• Placement fees are payable upon successful hire as per the agreed rate
• You must not contact candidates sourced through the platform outside of the platform without our consent

3. Candidate responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and truthful information on your profile
• You must not misrepresent your skills or experience
• Use of the platform as a candidate is free

4. Placement fees

Employer placement fees are as follows:

• Permanent placements: 10% of the candidate's agreed base salary
• Contract placements: 20% of the candidate's agreed hourly rate

Fees are invoiced upon the candidate's confirmed start date. Payment terms are 14 days from invoice.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site is owned by TheColab Limited unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without our written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

We provide the platform on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
